The MatHawks will traveled to Oviedo, FL for the Zac Jarzynka Memorial Ironman Tournament held at Oviedo High School. This years tournament was a 32 team event featuring some of the best teams from Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, Virginia, Alabama, South Carolina, and Texas.

Junior Steven Ours won the 152 lb weight class with a victory over Trevor Sanford of Sebastian River. Ours won 4 matches on the day.

Sophomore Ray Borja also reached the finals but fell to Allen, TX Eric Simmons. Borja finished the tournament with a 3-1 record.

Also placing for the MatHawks were Senior Robert DeSano with a 3rd place finish, Senior Zach Grimsley and Daniel Mills with a 4th place finishes, and Ronnie Ours with an 8th place finish.

As a team, Hayfield finished in 6th place with 126.5 points. Nationally ranked Oviedo won the team title with 227 points.

The MatHawks will return to action this weekend as they host the 2007 Battlefield Duals.
