MatHawks 2nd at Northern Region Championships

The MatHawks score 153 points in the 2007 Northern Region Championship finishing in 2nd behind Langley Saxon's 165 points. They were lead by champions Junior Steven Ours (152) and Senior Zachary Grimsley (160). Finalist included were Senior Robert DeSano (171) losing by fall to returning state champion Matt Jones and Junior Daniel Mills (189) suffering a defeat by 3-1 decision to Langley's Malachy Morris. Sophmore Raymond Borja (103) earned a 3rd place finish followed by regional placers Sophmore Lewen Romero (125) 6th, Ronnie Ours (130) 5th, Senior Joshua Claassen (135) 6th. MatHawks state qualifiers will continue their campaign on February 23-24 at the State Tourney held at Robinson High School.
