Junior Steven Ours finished in 2nd place falling to Jared King of Great Bridge in the finals, while the MatHawks finished in 6th place as a team at the 2007 USMC Ultimate Challenge wrestling tournament held at Colonial Forge High School.

Ours won his pool to earn a spot in the finals. Ours defeated Christian Luna of Forest Park by pin, then defeated Danny Okeffe of Chantilly by score of 8-2, the earned a technical fall over Geoff Nelowet of Gar-Field by a score of 15-0. Ours then claimed a decision over Steve Courtney of Colonial Forge 10-3. In the finals Ours was pinned by Jared KIng of Great Bridge in :43 sec. King is currently the #1 ranked werstling in VA AAA at 152 lbs, Courtney is #3 ranked wrestler. Ours is currently ranked #2 in in VA AAA.
